New marketing VP for Manitowoc
Manitowoc Crane has appointed a new vice president of global marketing - Ion Warner.
The role was previously held by Ingo Schiller who moved to head up Manitowoc Crane Care last year, before becoming senior vice president of Rough Terrain, Industrial and Boom trucks earlier this year.
Warner joins the company from Pentair where he spent two years as vice president, global infrastructure/building services. Prior to that he was with Case New Holland Industrial for three years as senior director marketing for construction, light utility and agricultural products.
He began his career as Southeast Asia district sales manager with Ford Motor company, and served in various positions in his 13 years with Ford leading up to role of global fleet sales manager.
At Manitowoc he will be responsible for marketing strategy, sales training, trade show participation, advertising, brand management, public relations, digital marketing and market research.
