Loading fatality in Canada
A truck driver died on Monday at the premises of a rental company in Aberfoyle, Ontario, Canada, during the loading of a scissor lift.
The man, 47, was standing beside his tilt-back truck in the yard of local access rental company Voisin Equipment Rental, while a slab electric scissor lift was forked onto the truck by an industrial forklift. As it went onto the ramp the fork truck overturned onto the truck driver trapping and crushing him.
