The innovative control technology has been adapted by the design engineers to meet customer needs. Using Palfinger’s “Paldiag” crane software the operating levers can be assigned control functions to suit individual requirements. It will also be possible to set the maximum speeds for each of the individual functions as well as programme the start/stop acceleration ramps.
Two-handed operation can be activated for each function, obliging the crane operator to activate at least two buttons in order to be able to carry out certain manoeuvres.
All radio remote control systems can be supplied with a second receiver to Enable additional equipment such as hydraulic extending outriggers to be incorporated.
The new control system also incorporates fault diagnostics, the control system permanently monitors the digital status of the system. A code that is visible on the display provides instantaneous information about the cause of performance deviations. This enables the crane operator to make corrective adjustments on site, saving time and costs.
Palfinger is providing a full 24 month warranty on the entire radio remote control system, the company says it is the first in the sector to offer such a warranty,
