Mammoet Germany appoints new MD

International heavy lift and specialist transport company Mammoet has appointed Jens Krawczinsky as managing director of its German business.

Krawczinsky started out his career as a process engineer before spending 17 years with German engineering service provider Euro Engineering, most recently as head of its chemical engineering division.

The company said: “Thanks to his personal and professional background, Krawczynski meets all the criteria to lead our company successfully and will do so with some personal touches. He is looking forward to this new role and responsibilities and will continue the strategy followed so far. His style is characterised by fairness, performance and reliability.”

Krawczinky takes over from Charles Jas, who was only appointed as managing director at the start of last year – see: New MD for Mammoet Germany. The company has said Jas will remain with the company in order to ‘take on other duties within Mammoet Europe’.
