Fleet manager and rental co-ordinator for Acme

US based wholesale rental company Acme Lift has employed a fleet manager and a rental coordinator to its team.

Greg Richards joins the company as fleet manager to handle the purchasing and selling of the rental machines, and will be responsible for their analysis and care while they are in the fleet. He brings over 30 years’ experience in inventory control, sales, supervision, operations, and marketing and purchasing.

He joins Acme Lift from Kirby-Smith Machinery in Oklahoma City, where he was corporate parts control inventory manager since 2011. Prior to that he worked at H&E Equipment Services in Phoenix for 21 years. He was corporate parts operations and inventory control manager from 2006 to 2011, branch parts manager from 2002 to 2006, and general parts manager from 1990 to 2002.

Before that he was with Empire Southwest in Arizona, starting in parts counter sales in Mesa in 1986, then working as a product support sales representative in Tucson from 1988 to 1990.

The new rental co-ordinator is Chelsea Myrick, she will work with the company’s rental team and customers. She has been in and around the rental business most of her life. She joins Acme after two years with BlueLine Rental (Volvo Rents) where she was a sales coordinator in Bakersfield, California and a branch manager in the Denver metro area.

Before that, she worked for Pape Material Handling, most recently as a sales and rental coordinator in Salinas, California, having moved from the Eugene, Oregon branch where she was a rental manager and sales coordinator at Pape Machinery for two years. Prior to that she was an accounts receivables associate at The Pape group in Eugene having moved from Phoenix, Arizona, where she was a rental and service coordinator and senior rental department administrator for four years at Pape Rents, formerly Diamondback Rental & Sales.
