Icahn boosts stake in Hertz
Having helped choose the new chief executive for Hertz, investor Carl Icahn has acquired more shares in the business, taking his holding from 8.5 up to 10.8 percent.
In spite of this relatively small holding Icahn won the right to appoint three main board directors, two of which served on the five man committee that selected the new chief executive.
