Solid progress at SMIE
SMIE the tower crane anti-collision specialist based in France has reported revenues for the fiscal year ending in March of €5.5 million, an increase of almost 60 percent since 2011. Although still some way off the peaks it achieve prior to the financial crisis. Net profits for the period were in the region of €550,000 or 10 percent of revenues.
The company has also confirmed that following the announcement of its new German subsidiary in July it has already signed a number of contracts and that it expects to make further significant progress in 2015. It also says that installations of its new ProSite global crane management system are going well, particularly in France and the UK.
