AFI forms business development team
UK rental company AFI has hired three former employees as part of a new business development team.
Brian Parker and Paul Maxwell have been appointed as business development managers - technical support - while Darren Kesterton re-joins as national business development manager - strategic accounts & projects.
The new team will work closely with main contractors and industry groups to develop business over the longer term and help ensure that the company is at forefront of industry initiatives.
Brian Parker previously spent seven years in training and HSEQ roles with AFI, Paul Maxwell held training and operational positions for eight years, and Darren Kesterton was with the company for four years in a sales role.
The other members of the team are new employees Roxanne Woodiwiss, who joins from RoSPA, Andy Bray, who was previously with Versalift UK, while Ben Hamill and Trisha Walton move across from other roles within AFI.

Emperors new clothes
I used to think of AFI as the Millwall Football Club of the access industry with their ‘No one likes us we don’t care’ attitude.
They now seem all cuddly and feely, there is obviously some human element creeping in with the changes at the top......or are they a wolf in sheep’s clothing and looking to sell out?

Ahh, they look so happy together, congratulations.
