Off to John O’Groats for charity
Andy Pearson, managing director of UK rental company Prolift Access is currently cycling a 900 mile route from Land's End to John O'Groats.
Pearson and friend Nigel Callun set out on the challenge from Cornwall on Wednesday, in order to raise money for Children's Hospice South West, and the pair set off from Cornwall yesterday morning. They are planning to cover between 80 and 110 miles per day, and aim to reach the tip of Scotland on Sunday, July 19th.
All money raised will go towards the charity's Charlton Farm hospice at Wraxall near Bristol.

Pearson said: "Our good friends Chris and Karen Cox have a lovely grandson called Thomas, who has been diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease. The family have been benefitting from the respite at Charlton Farm during Thomas' illness, so we thought it would be great if we could help support such a great cause while completing a life-long ambition to cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats."
