New CEO at Samson
Crane rope manufacturer Samson has announced that Tony Bon will step down as chief executive on January 1st after 41 years with the company.
His replacement has been named as Andrea Sturm who will join the company in November. Bon will stay until the end of 2016 to support Sturm throughout the transition period.

Andrea Sturm
Bon has been with Sampson since 1974 advancing through the company in various positions until being named president in 2007 and chief executive in 2013.
Sturm has a background in international business management, product management, new product development, marketing and sales. For the last four years, she served as general manager at Fluke Corp the electronic testing tool company in Everett, Washington. Prior to that she held several positions with Philips Consumer Electronics, including vice president of global marketing and sales with Philips Oral Healthcare.
