Leaving the road abruptly

An All Terrain crane left the road abruptly yesterday near Coucourde, between Lyon and Avignon, France, blocking the D74 road between Coucourde and Sauzet.

The crane, which appears to be a Grove GMK All Terrain owned by Valence Levage, caused a fair bit of damage to itself and the structure that brought it to a stop. We understand though that there were no serious injuries, and that the crane will be recovered later today.
