Fassi extends small crane range

Italian loader crane manufacturer Fassi has continued to upgrade its small crane range with the launch of two new models - the six and seven tonne/metre F65B.1 and the F70B.1.

The new models are nine percent lighter than their predecessors thanks to the use of ultra-high strength steel, adding to vehicle payloads. The new cranes also use a new boom link design on the primary and secondary joints resulting in a nine percent increase in reach on the F65B.1, compared to the previous model.

Fassi has continued to upgrade its small crane range with the launch of two new models - the six and seven tonne/metre F65B.1 and the F70B.1.

Fassi claims the lifting performance of the new cranes - relative to hydraulic reach and the weight/power ratio - is better than any other crane on the market in this category.

The cranes have been designed to be as compact as possible - the hydraulic distributor is housed vertically on the crossbar, the size of the oil tank is smaller, and the overall structure is slimmer.

The addition of the Fassi XP system upgrades the F65B.1 to the seven tonne/metre class, where it becomes the F70B.1.

The F65B.1 model comes with the FX500 control system and in the e-dynamic version with the Fassi RCH/RCS radio control. For all models there are four base versions that can be fitted with a maximum of four hydraulic extensions. The addition of the Fassi XP system upgrades the F65B.1 to the seven tonne/metre class, where it becomes the F70B.1.

Both models will be available from the end of January.
