Intermat last day

This is the last day for this years big show in Paris, a surprising number of visitors are lining up outside for a holiday weekend. However while most exhibitors feel that the overall number of visitors is down on the 175,000 three years ago, most report strong order intake.

Terex Demag UK’s order intake runs into double digits, in terms of units, not all of which would have been placed without a visit to the show.
Wumag reported the sale yesterday of its first 53 metre truck mounted lift to Holland, with an order from Debru.

Unic Cranes Europe has booked several orders at the show for its mini-crawler crane machines. Customers and dealers from Norway, Sweden, Germany, Ireland and the UK have all placed orders for the one to three tonne models. The company has also expanded its distribution network with the appointment of Oriental in Dubai.

Hitachi Sumitomo has sold the first SCX800 HD-2 in Europe to BPH in the UK, via its distributor NRC. A second unit has also been sold in the UK, but that deal will be officially signed at SED so Hitachi and NRC were not prepared to disclose the identity.
