Tanfield Appoints Tindale

Tanfield has made its first significant appointment since taking over the UpRight powered access business. It has recruited ex UpRight marketing and product development manager Richard Tindale to the post of Access product and business development manager. He will have the initial responsibility for establishing a product and distribution strategy for the UpRight products.

Arnie Dirckinck-Holmfeld, who currently leads the UpRight sales efforts, will stay with UpRight with responsibility for the scaffold sales and marketing, as will most of the sales staff. Tanfield will therefore be looking to recruit a range of new staff to cover a number of sales posts around the world, as well as engineers and technical people.

Since leaving UpRight Tindale, has since at Versalift, Gardner Denver and more recently TH White. His move to Whites, was connected with a possible move by Palfinger into smaller vehicle mounted lifts. It is understood that this project has been put on hold while Palfinger consolidates its Bison acquisition.
