Fatal truck mount crush

A man working from a truck mounted lift in Suva, Fiji, was crushed between the platform and the billboard he was working on yesterday.

The man Ilisoni Nata, 31, was working for Go Advertising and was apparently an experienced platform operator. He was rescued from the platform, a straight telescopic Tadano lift, with fibreglass platform, and rushed to hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

The scene after the deceased was taken to hospital
