Office manager Spelman said: “Katherine and Eve are in training for The Great South Run this October. As part of their preparations, they decided to sign up to a local race together. Once it had been mentioned in the office a few times, most of us wanted to join and get fit by starting to run. That’s when we all decided to sign up to the Race for Life. It’s great to be able to get fit and raise money for a very worthy cause at the same time. We all know someone whose lives have been touched by cancer in some way. We haven’t all started training yet but it will fun whether we walk, run or jog it!”

GGR managing director Gill Riley – who it is noticed has not joined the team - added: “As a company, we do a lot of charity work so it’s great when colleagues decide to do something off their own backs as well. Everyone here is cheering them on.”

The Race For Life takes place on Sunday, May 15, at Waddesdon Manor, Silk Street, Waddesdon, from 10.30am.
