A-Plant and Wates expand agreement

A-Plant and UK contractor Wates Group have signed a new, more extensive long term trading agreement.

The new agreement follows on from long standing supply arrangement between the two companies and for the first time will include the SES Engineering Services subsidiary of Wates, allowing A-Plant to increase the range of products and services it provides to the group.

A-Plant’s commercial director Dave Harris said: “Wates is one of A-Plant’s longest served and largest customers, so we are extremely pleased to extend and expand our existing supply partnership and especially pleased to extend our support to SES Engineering Services, one of the UK’s leading specialist M&E companies.”

“We can now offer our complete range of products and services to all of the Wates Group through one contract, one process and managed by one team. Wates has been delighted by the support we have provided to them over many years and this new deal is testament to the level of service we have been able to provide across the UK across a number of products categories.”

Wates group procurement director Jamie McKechnie added: “We are pleased to have signed this agreement with A-Plant. The full solution offering and range of services they can offer make them the perfect choice for us. This agreement will mean that we’re able to consolidate our equipment needs to one supplier, through one contract and one ordering process.”
