New global sales VP for Hiab

Hiab has appointed Scott Hall as senior vice president, sales & services, heading up global sales and product support functions. He reports to Hiab president Roland Sundén.

He takes over from Sebastian Poccard, who has departed after less than a year with the company “to pursue other interests outside the company.”

Hall joined Hiab in 2015 as vice president sales and service North America, having previously been chief executive of Volvo Rents- which became Blue Line Rental a position he took up in 2011 after over 10 years as senior vice president of sales and marketing for Volvo Construction Equipment.
Before his time at Volvo Hall had worked with Champion Road Machinery where he was chief financial officer, vice president sales and marketing and chief executive.

Roland Sundén said: "Over the past two years Scott has led Hiab's sales and service operations in North America with great success. He has developed our sales and services organisation and built a structure and common interface to support our customers in the best possible way while growing Hiab's business in one of our key markets. I am pleased to have Scott to join Hiab's Leadership Team to drive and support our business expansion on a global scale" .
