            CEO switch at JCB N. America
            JCB has promoted Richard Fox-Marrs to chief executive effective immediately, replacing Arjun Mirdha who has left the company to “pursue other opportunities”. It is also reported that vice president of finance Steve Vernon has left the company, although this has not been confirmed.

In his new role Fox-Marrs will be responsible for JCB operations - including the Savannah manufacturing plant –along with sales and support for all market sectors. He joined JCB in 1998 as regional sales manager - Construction (UK & Eire). Since then he has held a number of positions including general manager - Agriculture for North America between 2002 and 2004, managing director of the Loadall telehandler business from 2005 to 2008 and most recently managing director for the Agricultural business.  
JCB chief executive Graeme Macdonald said: “As JCB’s senior executive in North America, Richard Fox-Marrs will further our position as a global leader in technical innovation, product quality and customer service, and accelerate our strong business performance and growth across all business sectors.”
Arjun Mirdha joined JCB in 1996 as a business management manager at its Rocester plant in the UK, and moved the US after a stint with the company in India. He was appointed chief operating officer for the American operation in 2012 an chief executive in January 2014
