New sales & marketing VP at DSM

Dutch heavy lift sling and fibre rope supplier DSM Dyneema has appointed Olivier Janin as vice president sales & marketing, reporting to company president Golnar Motahari Pour.

Janin joins the company from Saudi Arabia Basic Industries (SABIC) where he was executive director chemical sales Europe, having joined the company in 2007 and served in a variety of roles, including business director and global account manager.

He began his career in the UK in 1992 as business development manager at ICI Acrylics, before moving to Quinn Plastics, Belgium in 2000 as marketing director. A year and half later he joined GE in the Netherlands as European commercial manager moving to a similar role at GE polymers in 2005.
