New directors for Skyking

UK aerial lift distributor Skyking has appointed Richard Martin as sales director, and confirmed Dave Freebody as operations director.

Freebody, was previously with Riwal UK, having co-founded the business with Les Warren and Tim White in 2009 after four years with Nationwide Platforms and a year with AFI. He left Riwal earlier this year and has been operating as a freelance IPAF training instructor since then, he has been working with Skyking since Vertikal Days in May.

Martin joins the company from Rapid Platforms where he was a senior manager and, prior to its acquisition by AFI late last year– a part owner. He has worked in the access industry since 19 85. Speaking of his new role he said: “I am looking forward to help drive and develop the Palfinger, Easy Lift and Ascendant range with the back-up of the Skyking team.”

Skyking, now part of the HW Martin group is UK distributor for Palfinger Platforms, Ascendant, Easy Lift and Alamac.
