Chief technology officer for Alimak
Alimak has appointed Charlotte Brogren as chief technology officer, she will take up her role in October.
Brogren is currently director general at Vinnova, the Swedish governmental agency for innovation systems. She joined Vinnova in 2009 from Swiss manufacturing company ABB where she spent 15 years in various management positions within research and development, eventually becoming technology manager for the company’s robotics division. She is also a member of the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences.

Charlotte Brogren
Brogren will be responsible for technology, innovation and product management at Alimak taking over from Frank Klessens who continues in his role as head of product management for the Alimak Hek brand.
Chief executive Tormod Gunleiksrud said: “We are very pleased to welcome Charlotte Brogren to Alimak. She has a broad, in depth industrial experience within technology and innovation, and she will be of great benefit to Alimak. We are moving towards being more of an engineering company, where the combination of safety, mechanical design, automation and digitalisation are key enablers for fulfilling our customer needs in the future. Charlotte´s knowledge and experience within these areas will be important for the group moving forward.”
