LHM 800 to Chile

Chilean container terminal Terminal Pacífico Sur Valparaiso (TPS) has taken delivery of a 154 tonne Liebherr LHM 800 mobile harbour crane and ordered two Liebherr ship-to-shore gantry cranes.

The LHM 800 has a maximum working radius of 64 metres and is able to service vessels up to 22 container rows across, depending on the terminal set up. Located on the south pacific coast of Chile, TPS processes nearly 90 percent of all cargo coming through Valparaíso, which amounts to over 10.3 million tonnes a year. The LHM 800 will be used to pack and ship fruits heading to Europe, Asia and North America.

The ship-to-shore gantry cranes have a 62 metre outreach and a maximum capacity of 65 tonnes under twin lift spreader.
