The expansion over two storeys will include new assembly lines that run on a ‘Lean’ and also the ‘Paperless’ basis. In addition, more centralised pre-assembly will take place. This is expected to improve assembly line efficiency. Automation is further balanced with various suppliers. Tobroco will also invest more in welding techniques - adding to two recently installed welding robots, bending and spindle machines.
