New CEO for ZF
German driveline manufacturer ZF Friedrichshafen has appointed Wolf-Henning Scheider as chief executive.
Scheider joins ZF from engine components maker Mahle, where he has been the chief executive since 2015. Before that, he was managing director of Robert Bosch for five years.

Wolf-Henning Scheider
He began his career as a trainee with Robert Bosch in 1989 and held various positions within the company, including power tools manager in France, chief executive of the car/multimedia division, and as chief executive of the gasoline systems, Schwieberdingen division.
ZF chairman Franz-Josef Paefgen said: "Scheider is an industry expert and a leader that stands for continuity, with both his technical and interpersonal skills. He will systematically continue to execute our Strategy ZF 2025."
