“Working directly with one of the larger manufacturers as well as one of largest crane rental fleets in the industry, I gleaned a tremendous amount of information about both manufacturing and fleet management, and really understood what clients and operators needed. In terms of real world application, problems, and solutions, I often went onsite to work directly with the technicians,” said Gigante.

“I am looking forward to working closely with the commercial segment to add vitality to the North American market, and that of the Caribbean islands. Raimondi’s innovative engineering and design teams have introduced an expanded range of higher capacity cranes perfectly suited to the demands of the American and Canadian markets. It has also demonstrated a readiness to adapt based on all-important client feedback, this is a rare attribute in a heavy lifting machinery manufacturer.”

“Listening to the industry’s needs and providing a reliable, quality product that works, together with a support staff to keep it that way are just a few of the factors that made Raimondi Cranes attractive to me.”

Masetti added: “Patrick’s extensive history in the crane industry, specifically the tower crane segment in North America and across the Caribbean islands, will prove invaluable to Raimondi as we continue to scale. Together with Raimondi’s management, Patrick will be bringing our full range of tower and luffing cranes to the respective markets under his purview, while establishing a strong network of agents helping to invigorate the company’s market share.”

This move follows the appointment of Wael Hassan as Middle East commercial manager, part of Raimondi’s recruitment drive to support its plans to extend its market coverage and increase overall volumes and market share.
