New VP sales & marketing for Elliot

Boom truck, crane and aerial lift manufacturer Elliott Equipment Company has appointed Tom Vatter as vice president of sales & marketing.

He joins the company from the Environmental Solutions Group of Dover Corporation, which produces a wide range of recycling equipment, along with Heil refuse collection trucks, hook lifts and cable hoist systems for roll-off containers, docks, and flatbeds.

He began his career in 1991 as northeast sales manager at refuse collection vehicle manufacturer McNeilus, which later become part of Oshkosh. He remained with the company moving up through the Oshkosh organisation, culminating with a move to its Pierce fire and rescue vehicle manufacturing business as vice president of sales and marketing. In 2002 he moved to Hagerstown, Maryland, based Autocar moving to Environmental Solutions at the end of 2012.
