IPAF Summit

The IPAF Summit was held in Miami, Florida last week, followed by the annual IAPA Awards dinner.

The programme kicked off with a networking event on Wednesday evening at Bar 601, Heat American Airlines Arena, with the Summit kicking off at 10:00 on Thursday morning.

This year’s Summit presentations, followed the theme ‘Quantifying Sustainablity’ and were delivered by 20 speakers. Delegates downloaded a new IPAF Summit event App and participated in live polls throughout the day.
IPAF chief executive Tim Whiteman opened the Summit, followed by separate parallel sessions for Aerial Work Platforms and Mast Climbing Work Platforms

A panel discussion covered Virtual Reality, training simulators and whether simulators will eventually replace real platforms in training. A Rental Panel which included Lifetime Achievement Winner, Dan Kaplan, discussed 'Is your company ready for 2028?'
