Radius NFT agrees rental partnership with Potain

UK based crane and heavy lift company Radius NFT has signed a rental partnership ‘dealership’ with Manitowoc to rent Potain tower cranes in the UK.

Radius NFT is a joint venture between Northampton, UK based Radius Crane Management and Abu Dhabi based Potain dealer NFT Tower Cranes – which operates a tower crane rental fleet internationally, with a European business based in Belgium, and Northampton based Radius crane management, it has had a number of recent successes and currently has around 70 units working in the UK.

The deal is celebrated at Intermat, Paris

Radius managing director Mike Fryer said: “It is great that Manitowoc recognises both Radius and NFT as their partner in the UK. The manufacturer understands our business which reinforces our position in the UK tower crane market.”

NFT president Nabil Al Zahlawi added:“Partnerships are important in our business – you cannot do it alone. We are strong because we have a factory behind us, supporting us, in a difficult market like the UK. I hope we can do more and more in the UK and develop a better market share. We started with zero cranes and now we have 50. The potential is there, and for bigger cranes, and I hope we will soon reach 100 cranes.”
