Kinshofer acquires cutter business from Atlas
German lifting attachment manufacturer Kinshofer has acquired the Schaeff Transverse Cutter business from loader crane and excavator company Atlas.
The move is part of Atlas’ strategy to focus its efforts on its core crane and excavator business. The Schaeff cutter attachments are still widely used by Atlas’ customers in mining, construction, landscaping, tunnelling and in particular demolition. As a result, it was keen to find a competent manufacturer that was able to maintain product quality and delivery, while being willing to invest in further product range development.
