Raimondi adds Italian dealer

Raimondi Cranes has appointed tower crane sales and rental company Italasme to represent it in four Italian regions: Liguria, Lombardy, Piedmont, and the Aosta Valley.

The family company, based in Vimercate, Milan, was established in 1988 and runs a fleet of around 50 cranes, including 25 Raimondi units. It will handle sales, service and product support throughout North West and North central Italy, including the key cities of Turin and Milan. The company has already booked its first sales order, for an eight tonne Raimondi MRT159 flat top crane, which it has erected for the buyer in Milan with a 50 metre hook height, 65 metre jib and a jib tip capacity of 1,600kg.

Raimondi commercial director Mauro Masetti said: “Italasme is the ideal Italian partner for Raimondi Cranes. A customer oriented company, they prioritise service over sales, and will be stationing one full time area manager dedicated to positioning and maintaining our models in their territory. I believe this is the first step to increasing Raimondi’s at home market penetration, we are counting on Italasme as a strong and trusted regional partner.”
