The first 16 metre road/rail Neotec 400RR/Manitou 160ATJ+ boom lift has been certified in Australia and started work.
The RoadRailer, built by Neotec in France, is a highly modified version of the 46ft Manitou 160ATJ+ articulated self-propelled boom lift. The first unit for Australia shipped to Neotec dealer Aries at the end of last year as part of a six unit initial order. Since its arrival it has gained full on-rail certification from Transport for NSW, is fully compliant with AS7502 and has Nationwide Design Registration making it easy to register with all of Australia’s rail networks. Units are now working in Sydney and Melbourne.
The machine has a 400kg unrestricted maximum platform capacity, throughout 360 degrees with 8.5 metres outreach and a 16.4 metre working height, on cambers/banking of up to 200mm.
Neotec has also delivered its 100th Manitou based Skyrailer to a company in the UK.
