Skylift and route 66

Skylift Hire, the Limerick based access and telehandler rental company has sponsored radio 2FM’s Jenny Houston in the ‘Pillion in a Million’ fund raising event for Temple Street Children’s Hospital.

The 2FM DJ is currently on a sponsored pillion passenger on an eight day motorbike journey down the famous Route 66 in the USA. The event is part of an effort to raise $1million to purchase a CT Scanner for the hospital.

John Cusack, the managing director of Skylift said ‘we are particularly proud to be associated with such a worthwhile cause. We have always been aware of the great fund raising work in Temple Street and are delighted to be able to play a part in this brilliant initiative to raise $1million for a much needed CT Scanner’.

Fellow director at Skylift, Oorla Cusack, previously worked as a nurse at the Hospital.
