New CFO for Herc

US based rental company Herc Rentals has appointed Mark Irion as chief financial officer.

He joins the company from after 19 years with rental company Neff – which was acquired by United Rentals last year - where he was chief financial officer. He will be based at the Herc’s Field Support Centre in Bonita Springs, Florida.

He began his career in 1990 with Deloitte & Touche, in Miami, Florida, but also worked for the company in New Zealand. He moved to computer component distribution company Markvision Holdings as chief financial officer in 1994 leaving to join Neff in 1998.
