Non-exec director returns to Manitowoc

Manitowoc has re-appointed Roy Armes as a non executive director, taking the board from seven to eight members.

Armes previously served on Manitowoc’s board from 2010 to 2016. See Manitowoc expands board and was the lead non executive director when Glen Tellock stepped down.

Armes is the former chief executive of Cooper Tire and Rubber leaving the company in 2016. Prior to that he had a long career with Whirlpool Corp., serving in various executive leadership roles in the U.S. and overseas. He currently serves as a non executive director at agricultural equipment manufacturer AGCO, which owns the Massey Ferguson and Fendt brands.
