New head for Rami Sweden & Denmark
Ramirent has appointed Erik Bengtsson as executive vice president, Sweden & Denmark and group fleet and sourcing.
He joined the Ramirent board of directors in March last year, having resigned as executive vice president of Cramo Scandinavia and managing director of Cramo Sweden in April 2015
See Erik Bengtsson quits Cramo Since then he has held a number of roles, including a year with a web start up business Biduin, a year as chief executive of ceramic tile sales company Centro, before founding a cloud based ‘pricing engine’ Pricise. He will step down from the Ramirent board at the end of this month, in order to take up his new executive role. There has been no mention of a replacement for him on the board, which will now have six members.

He replaces Jonas Söderkvist who moves to the new role of executive vice president, group business development, with responsibility for group strategy, mergers & acquisitions, new business development, IT and digitalisation.

Dino Leistenschneider who currently heads the group fleet & sourcing function will now report to Bengtsson.
