250 tonner for Schick
German contractor Anton Schick has taken delivery of a 250 tonne Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 All Terrain crane.
The five axle crane features a 60 metre main boom plus a 12.2 to 22 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which can be extended to 50 metres with inserts and offset hydraulically by up to 45 degrees. The crane will be used for major prefabricated concrete construction projects, having already been used to relocate supports and wall components for the construction of a new warehouse for an adhesive manufacturer in Bad Kissingen.

Managing director Anton Schick said: “This means we now have the most powerful five axle crane on the market in our fleet. Liebherr has been supplying time tested quality for over 40 years and is also the technology leader in the mobile crane market. In addition to technological aspects, the fact that Liebherr mobile cranes retain their value is another important factor for us.”
