Custom boosts sales team

US low level scissor lift manufacturer Custom Equipment has apointed Paul Allen as Northeast territory manager.

Allen will provide support to customers in the Northeast region of the USA, where the company says it has a growing presence. He will focus on expanding the company’s network of dealers and major accounts etc..for its Hy-Brid scissor lifts.

He joins the company from Monroe Tractor & Implement where he has been a product support representative for the past three years. Prior to that he spent a similar amount of time at aerial lift dealer Admar Supply where he was an outside representative for new and used equipment sales and rentals, based at its Binghamton, New York, location.

He began his career as a financial advisor with American Express in 2001, leaving to join aerial lift and boom truck manufacturer Altec as an account manager in 2003. Seven years later he moved to NES Rental as an outside sales representative, leaving to join Admar in 2013

Vice president of sales Dan Schneider said: “Paul is a great asset for our team. With a growing construction industry, we needed someone who can continue to give our customers in that region the attention and support they need to be successful.”

Allen added: “I am very excited to join Custom Equipment. It is great to be part of a team that builds high quality American made equipment that provides solutions to contractors’ construction challenges.”
