Rami names new CFO

Ramirent has named Jukka Havia as its new chief financial officer. He will take up the position by the start of May next year. The position became vacant in October, when Pierre Brorsson resigned and left the company for personal reasons. See Ramirent loses CFO

He joins Ramirent from paint company Tikkurila Oyj where he has been the chief financial officer since 2010. Prior to that he spent five years with the mining and metals company Rukki group (now known as Afarak), initially as chief financial officer then deputy chief executive.

He began his financial career as a controller for Oy Canon, the finish dealer for Cannon cameras and copiers etc.. in 1995. Two years later he moved to telecoms company RSL Com as chief financial officer. In 2001 he was appointed as managing director of IT company KY-Palvelu.

He also holds a number of non-executive directorships, including the Lapti group, the East Office of Finnish Industries and Leipurin.
