First Gottwald 5 Series harbour crane

The first Generation 5 harbour crane is working in the Port of Hamburg. The 150 tonne capacity G HMK 7608 is the largest mobile unit in the port and is working at the C Steinweg (Sud West Terminal) Gmbh.

The Gottwald G HMK7608 is the first Generation 5 crane

The eight axle unit allows increased manoeuvrability, enabling it to be positioned close to vessels. It is equipped with a four rope hoist and an 895kW diesel generator. Maximum hoisting speed is 100 m per minute.
