Notus acquires SWL Training

UK based heavy lift planning and project management company Notus Heavy Lift Solutions, has acquired specialist lifting training and consultancy company SWL Training from owner Kevin Bennison. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

SWL will be merged into the newly formed Notus Training with Bennison remaining with the business to head up the newly branded venture, with plans to offer enhanced training services to the lifting industry. Notus is based in Wrexham with offices in Liverpool and Bristol. More recently it opened an office in Cannington, near the Hinkley Point power station site. The company has a particular expertise in the wind power and renewable energy market.
