SWL will be merged into the newly formed Notus Training with Bennison remaining with the business to head up the newly branded venture, with plans to offer enhanced training services to the lifting industry. The company has a particular expertise in the wind power and renewable energy market.
Notus heavy Lifting’s managing director Wesley Walberg said: “We have been in negotiations with SWL Training for over a year now and are delighted to have been able to make this deal happen. Kevin and SWL’s reputation is second to none in the lifting training industry and we believe this is a natural extension to the Notus brand. Similarly, we believe we have the platform to take delivery of training services in the lifting industry to the next level”.
Bennison added: “With Notus’ well established reputation for delivery of high quality lifting services along with the dedication and vision of SWL Training, we will produce standards of training that have never been seen before in our industry. The partnership creates a synergy that will allow us to serve our clients beyond their expectations. We will be sharing regular updates on the progress of the merger and look forward to assisting you with your lifting and training requirements.”
