Pink scissor for charity
German rental company KFR Mietlifte has ordered a custom painted 19ft Skyjack SJIII 3219 slab electric scissor lift.
KFR Mietlifte will donate 10 percent of the pink SJIII 3219’s rental revenue to Lebenshilfe Munster, a charity that provides space, support, and guidance for people and families with disabilities. At the end of the year, Skyjack will also match KFR Mietlifte’s donation two to one. The donations will help fund Lebenshilfe Munster’s housing solutions, providing families with both short and long term accommodation.
The SJIII 3219 has an overall width of 810mm, a stowed height of just under two metres and a platform capacity of 227kg.

KFR Mietlifte general manager Marc Reinkenhoff said: “This is a charity that’s very close to our hearts and we were excited to get the chance to give back. We wanted to give the children an activity that they’ve never done before – and I think we did that with our pink Skyjack.”

Skyjack sales and operations manager Andreas Stumpf added: “We arrived with the SJIII 3219 and the children’s excitement at such a wonder was really great to see. It got even better when we brought the paint out and told them they could decorate the machine however they’d like.”
“We’ve been doing business with KFR Mietlifte for a few years now delivering a range of DC scissors, Rough Terrain scissors, and booms to their rental yard. They came to us for the opportunity to partner for a monetary donation, as well as provide them with a very unique looking scissor lift and we wanted to be a part of it right away.”
