BrandSafway acquires Century Elevators

Suspended platform and scaffold company BrandSafway has acquired Texas based hoist sales and rental company Century Elevators.

Established in 2009 Century offers a wide range of goods and passenger hoists as well as transport platforms. Based in Webster, Texas, in the south eastern Houston metro area, it covers the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, power, commercial construction and infrastructure industries. The company is the Pega hoist and Böcker dealer. The deal is aimed at increasing the Safway’s powered access revenues as well as its presence on the Gulf Coast.

The company will continue to operate as a stand alone business, under the Century Elevators by BrandSafway branding.
