Fatal tower crane incident
Four men died on Monday in the Narella district of New Delhi, India, when a tower crane collapsed as it was being climbed. Information from the area is confusing, but it seems that the crane had been installed at a height of around 12 metres and an engineer and three labourers were climbing it alongside a block of appartments under construction when something went wrong.
With no photographs from the scene we are not entirely sure if the climbing platform collapsed or the crane itself. But we are told that it was the platform. According to the police two of the men were 25, one was 27 and the other 30.
If and when we learn more on this incident we will of course update it.
