Klema Demag AC130

German heavy lifting and haulage company Klema has ordered a 130 tonne Demag AC 130-5 All Terrain crane.

The five axle AC 130-5 has a 60 metre main boom, while extensions take the maximum tip height to 86.5 metres. The crane’s axle loads can be reduced to 10 tonnes if required, making it easier to obtain permits.

Managing director Wolfgang Klenner said: “Thanks above all to the variable axle loads of either 10 or 12 tonnes and the innovative IC-1 Plus control system, we can use this crane extremely flexibly.”

Established in 1965, Klema is based in Oberschleißheim near Munich, southern Germany. It started its business with a six tonne truck crane and has gradually expanded its offering, to the point where it currently runs a fleet of cranes up to 400 tonnes. The company also runs an aerial lift rental fleet, and offers heavy transport along with industrial moving services.
