New CEO Wacker Neuson N.America

Wacker Neuson has appointed Gert Reichetseder as chief executive North America, Based at company headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he will also be a member of the group executive management board.

Reichetseder has been commercial director of Wacker Neuson's largest production facility in Linz, Austria since 2011.
Before joining Wacker he spent his entire career with Austrian molding specialist Engel, which supplies a wide range of industries from automotive manufacturers to medical and packaging companies. He joined the Austrian business in 1998 as an SAP ERP analyst and moved up through the company, with postings to Canada and Czech republic along the way, leaving fro Wacker Neuson in 2011.

In his new role he will be supported by the North American executive management team including Johannes Schulze Vohren - executive vice president sales & marketing and Ryan Gile - executive vice president operations and chief operating officer.

“This is a big transition for me and my wife,” said Reichetseder, “as I am changing my home base from Austria to Milwaukee, after having been in charge of our Linz facility for the past eight years. However, the potential of Wacker Neuson in North America reinforced my decision for this new assignment.”
