Triple bridge basher
A truck carrying a Rough Terrain crane struck three bridges in Melbourne last night, becoming jammed under the third - the Moreland Road overpass at Pascoe Vale South.
The driver, 61, and his truck/low loader trailer was following an escort vehicle as a wide load, yet still managed to strike the undersides of two bridges on the Tullamarine Freeway, but managed to keep going and pull though the bridge, but at the third bridge it jammed solid underneath and had to be recovered. But not before causing major traffic backups.
