75m Ruthmann for ATM

French crane and access rental company ATM Levage has taken delivery of a 75 metre Ruthmann T 750 HF truck mounted lift equipped with the manufacturer’s new Dynamic Reach System (DRS).

The T 750 HF features a five section main boom, a long three section top boom and a short articulated jib, which offers a 41 metres working outreach with 100kg in the platform. Maximum capacity is 600kg, while capacity at full height is 320kg.

The DRS system, which can be retrofitted to machines, optimises the variable outrigger set-up systems with automatic monitoring and envelop control that are becoming widespread on truck mounted and spider lifts. It uses the additional stability when working over, or alongside, a fully extended outrigger with a lighter weight to reach further.

The company also offers several specific functions that adjust the working envelope and platform capacity based on particular criteria, such as wind, which allows the machine to operate in force eight winds rather than the more usual force six by restricting the work envelope. The same applies to offering higher capacities when working closer into the machine.

Based in Valenton, on the outskirts of Paris, the company says that it plans to offer a wider range of truck mounted platforms in the region. The T 750 HF joins a 57 metre T 570 HF and 22 metre TBR 220 truck mount in the fleet, while a 30 metre Ruthmann TB300 is scheduled for delivery next year.

Established in 1996 as a transport company, ATM runs a fleet of All Terrains, self-erecting mobile tower cranes, mini crawler cranes, spider cranes and large loader cranes.
