Reachmaster expands sales team

US based aerial lift distributor ReachMaster has appointed Tony Trainer as regional sales and key account manager for the tree care sector and overall sales in the south east USA.

Until this autumn he was tree care account manager with Teupen North America, having joined the company in 2015. He also has direct experience in the tree care business having moved to Charlotte, North Caroline in 2008 to start a tree and landscaping business serving the greater Charlotte area. In 2011, he joined Sutherlands Exteriors as a project coordinator moving on year later to training equipment supplier Rae Crowther Football and Strength as a logistics coordinator and sales support agent. In his new role he will continue to be based in the Charlotte area.

At the same time the company has signed a sales representation agreement with Strategix Sales corp, which adds four sales representatives, and which will head up sales of ReachMaster’s line of Winlet Vacuum Glass handling equipment in Florida, Puerto Rico, Panama, Costa Rica and Mexico.

Reachmaster owner and chief executive Ebbe Christensen said: “We are very pleased to welcome Tony to our team. He brings extensive knowledge and experience from the compact lift segment of the market and has a proven track record for building strong customer relationships. Our field of work is very niche oriented as a premier provider of specialty lifts, so Tony’s background will fit very well into our portfolio of equipment.”
