Leppo Rents acquires Valco Equipment
US rental company Leppo Rents of Ohio, has acquired aerial work platform dealer and replacement parts and service supplier Valco Equipment.
Established in 1987, Valco operates from a location in Canton, Ohio, and offers new products from a wide range of suppliers including JLG/SkyTrak, Genie, MEC, Skyjack, Snorkel, Pettibone, Gehl and Manitou. It also includes Cincinnati, Ohio, based rental company Highlift Equipment and Rental Stop of Sunbury (Columbus), Ohio which it acquired in 2017.
Leppo Rents president of access Mike Leppo said: "We are excited to have Dave Maier and the rest of the Valco team join the family. Their years of experience and wide range of products round out our product offerings."
Leppo Equipment was founded by Roy and Stella Leppo in Akron, Ohio, in 1945 and operates from six full service locations in Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Cleveland-West, Wooster and Youngstown, serving North eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. It offers a wide range of rental equipment including aerial lifts and telehandlers from JLG and mast climbers from Hydro Mobile.
